I don't like what Sterling said either, but now that I've had time to calm down and think rationally, what exactly has he done? Is he practicing discrimination? Is he calling his players racial slurs to their face? I've heard worse in Tarantino films and on college campuses.

The reality is, Black players and coaches should have been boycotting his organization since the 90's and then we wouldn't be having this conversation today.

I'm not trying to be the but what about Black on Black crime guy, but I think we're stating ourselves up for another loss over a small issue when there are bigger issues effecting our community than what a billionaire says in private.

U mad bro?

Nope. I'm engaging in conversation just like you wanted. We all knew what you were doing this whole time, but now that someone actually stops and talk all you got is a "U mad bro?"

You tried to compare a man that owns a team full of black employees who thinks they're his property and insinuates that there's several others in his level of wealth/power/influence that feel the same to getting negged on an internet forum as proof that we're bad as Sterling and his cohorts. I'm actually genuinely curious as to how you got that correlation.

Of course the ATL
@Ronnie Lott my motherfukking nikka from all them MIGOS threads don't let me find out you out here talking about they shouldn't sit out when this cacazoid is saying we 150 percent less than whites.

Breh the players HAVE to play. Have to. I'd be disappointed if they didn't play. Like Magic is saying RIGHT NOW, they have to support themselves and their families. WE have to take up this fight. WE have to fight to get this guy out out of owning the team. Fans shouldn't go to games. We should boycott anybody who sponsors the Clippers organization. Hit em where it hurts

I hate that even in reading this thread, y'all Coli nikkaz are putting more pressure on the Clippers players for wanting to play than on getting Sterling removed as owner. That's gotta be EVERYBODYS focus not on petty name calling of Clippers players for doing what they're supposed to do

Norfeast groovin…
The obvious and chilling bottom line is that America's version of "the free market" is irreconcilable with humans decency and societal health. Our country is so thoroughly corporatized that teams feel more comfortable barring their players from commenting on Sterling than they've felt addressing his repugnant behavior for decades. The people in positions of authority have such myopic vision that short term concern about advertising revenue trumps long term concern about the players, the fans, and larger societal ramifications. The response to recklessness is to be meek, careful, measured. It's truly warped. And instead of having an intelligent, informed voice on deck to speak about this, we await the opinions of Stephen A. Smith, Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson, and Chris Broussard. It's theater of the absurd. And I think the teams barring black players from commenting on a white owner who considers blacks a lower life form is the most insane, sick aspect of all. It complements Sterling's views perfectly. The level of disrespect blacks face in this world, always... It's damn near impossible to process.

All the dreams sold in this country never hold up to its realities. shyt is fukkin sad, our generation got cheated like shyt.
