Damn, isn't the dude in your aviator and the person behind your username a jew?Did MLK "handle" racism?
He enlightened, he drew attention to and he gave people the knowledge they needed to deal with racism on an everyday basis...
If a white man has racism in their heart, he is the one that needs to change.
do the players need to rise up?
Yes.
But as a whole, not just the LA Clippers team, that would be useless, and so would any boycott.
But moreso than any of that Silver needs to be the one who finds away to get Sterling out of the league, this is a stain on professional basketball.
In all honesty, nothing will change.
This should make racist ppl see how ignorant/backwards their thinking is, but it won't.
All it does is make them think Sterling is an idiot for allowing himself to get caught and embarrassed like this.
There are some white ppl that really & truly believe they are superior ppl b/c everything in the world caters to them, every CEO you see in America is white, etc. It's flawed thinking and it won't change for many of them.
Damn they got all the power to make a stand right there law is right thereI'm not saying the players taking that stand wouldn't be major...I'm just not sure I'd be able to risk millions of my own dollars if I were in there position.
This was interesting though...
Clippers players would send a powerful message to Sterling by boycotting a game. Such a maneuver, however, would be in direct violation of their employment contracts. The players would be suspended by the NBA and potentially face significant fines, especially since the NBA would have to refund money to those fans buying tickets. It is worth noting, however, that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act prohibits employers from fining individuals for opposing discrimination. NBA contracts can also not "contract around" civil rights protections, meaning NBA players who boycott games over an owners' racism may be protected under the law.
Am I lying?
Damn they probably on every forum covering for sterling n silverDamn, isn't the dude in your aviator and the person behind your username a jew?

Let's not forget who the coach is for the clippers
"I have spoke to the mayor and Chris Paul, Doc Rivers and they just want to focus on the competition"Chris Paul is a alot of things like a whiner and flopper but he's also a true black family man
He of course has a young son. I have 2 myself. Imagine rolling over and having to explain that to your son
