Idgaf if she was bating him she still a sellout bytch talking about "I wish I could change my skin color" "I'm sorry, honey".

She set him up but she damn sure covered her bases to keep her money coming. Why wait a good three weeks to release the audio? Cuz Sterling probably finally cut her off. She would have kept hush hush and not done a damn thing had he "forgiven" her and given her the trip to Europe, $$$, new shoes, etc.

She was in this for herself. She could give a fukk about setting barometers. fukk her.

you got all that in the 9 minutes? I got her setting that idiot up for long goodbye. why else would she record that? magic about to put her on his payroll

Pretty much this. The TNT guys sounded like they were holding back during their segment, but Chuck was right about the players. Not once this season did they say they were playing for Donald Sterling; they play for each other.

Just because their owner is a piece of shyt, doesn't mean they should throw away all their hard work from the season. They have a legit shot to win it all.

Imagine how great it would be if they did win the title and just emasculated Sterling on the podium.
:what: Sterling wont givea fukk because not only would they have made him more money, they also just gave him a ring

he prolly wouldn't give a fukk about owning after a championship

It's not being defeatist. It's being realistic. Sterling OWNS the team, lock stock and barrel. When the Clippers sucked balls all this time, everyone wanted him to sell. Didn't do it. Those racist housing practices we know he does, didn't sell it, didn't get forced to sell it. All that time, the Clippers ate good. Fans still went. Marge Schott had the same thing happen to her. The only reason why she sold was because the minority partners planned on giving her the boot anyway. This isn't like a player or a coach or a GM where there's a higher authority. The buck stops with him. If all it took to oust an NBA Owner was being a low life piece of shyt, most of these guys woulda been gone a long time ago.

If they can find a way to do it using some "best interests of the game" clause, God bless Silver, but if that's the road they take, we'll be witnessing one of the most expensive civil cases this country has ever seen, because Silver could tell him "you gotta sell." Sterling could just say "suck my dikk" and then it's back to Silver again to figure out what's next
If he can't be forced out, then his pockets should be hurt. Players refusing to play would be an absolute fiasco for the NBA, Silver, and eventually Sterling's wallet. If black people stopped going to Clips games and started ostracizing others who did (both fans and players), it'd only be a matter of time. These are old lessons.
