Nah, the dash cam I could understand, medical kit I guess, but a portable jump starter? Eh, that car has so many computers, it’ll probably warn you before it goes completely dead.

Get an Obdeleven, it’s like jail breaking your car to unlock new features and turn off things. Like that seatbelt sound, you can do the needle sweep when you start the car like the S6 etc.

Dashcam is essential now for me. I had an incident in 2018 where I failed to yield to a pedestrian and he sued me. Insurance took care of it but he grossly exaggerated the truth so a dash cam is something I got for any potential run ins in the future where I need evidence.

The medical kit is the prepper in me in the event of an emergency.

Installed the dashcam and attached it to a constant on and a on/off. Works like a charm.

The Dashcam Store wanted to charge me $200 for them to do it.

Have a 2018 A4 that’s at the end of its lease in September …dealership been on me trying to get me to upgrade to a 2021 early…sometimes wished I went with the A6 last time…apparently the A4’s refreshed last year….going to holla at them next week, don’t know what I should do

I would be super cautious, I had a Kia Optima Turbo and the Turbo blew and it was $3500 to fix...I can't imagine what it would be on an S8. Make sure you have a warranty that includes the turbo.
