With how Paper Boi was willing to kill his music equipment to avoid doing the track, only for Doug to save him at the end

Van and Donald Glover both have described the ending as “hopeful” and not as dark as originally envisioned. They’ve also spoken about coming back and doing one-off episodes in the future which I doubt they’d do if one of the big four actually died.
