I see LeVert is an expiring. Is Niang's contract also? Only reason they did this was to save money over the next few years

That’s the Ressler way, sign decent to good players to bad contracts, extract value and then trade them for pennies on the dollar. Ressler has been adamant that he doesn’t want to pay the luxury tax, particularly for a play in level squad

None of the players who have been traded are a part of the future core of the Hawks. Hunter’s a 6th man, Bogi has fallen off a cliff and out of the rotation…we hit the tank button when JJ got hurt again this just accelerated the timeline to bottom out this season

And @GoldenGlove you're not getting a first round pick for the talent we shipped out. Maybe you could’ve gotten something conditional for Hunter down the road but nothing that would’ve impacted this years draft

Exactly, hurt or just mid. He became a 6th man because he couldn’t carry the weight of guarding the opposing teams best player and getting his own offense. The fact we could trade him and get a decent package is a win IMO

Hunter was hot for 10 games. Injuries and inconsistency was the only thing consistent about him.

I like mann and niang. Niang is a quin guy. A backup 4 who can space.

Bogi is washed.

The trades don't really move the needle, but now we don't have to watch Roddy play. I understand disappointment that we didn't get a star but acting like we lost some superstar in Dre is crazy

If JJ was healthy, I think this trade deadline would be different. We had a deal lined up for ayton.

I wasn’t expecting a star (was never interested in Ingram) but I would’ve liked to have gotten more for Dre… Bogi fell off goddamn cliff so that was kinda whatever but I think we need to accept that Capela will retire as a Hawk.

Not just this season bruh but the entirety of this ownership group’s tenure. These nikkas ain’t serious at winning they just want to make money. Why can’t we try to trade or sign for a KD, Kyrie, KAT, etc? Why can’t this front office group be aggressive instead of penny pinching?
