Good for him. Still ain't labeling him a "bonafide all-star" and for damn sure not a HOF talent
He was one that year tho.

I can tell people don't watch the Hawks play. People are bringing up stats like the Hawks don't go out of their way to move the offense through multiple players so that's it's even harder to plan for them.
Korver is planned for like he's star level threat. People who think he's just a dude who shoots is really understating his effect on the offense. Korver is typically being guarded by the opposing teams best perimeter defender because of his size, stamina, and shooting ability. Not only that but Korver rarely has the ball in his hands, to attack the basket, by the design of their gameplan. Korver is dangerous because he commands Curry-tier attention when he doesn't have the ball and he's so freakishly efficient that a 3 pointer for him is a better shot than a layup for most.
He attacks defenses by commanding an ungodly amount of attention, his constant movement, the fact that if you aren't within arms reach at all times then he's nailed a shot, etc.
No player in the NBA can replicate what Korver is doing right now except Curry. Korver is probably the most dangerous non-superstar offensive weapon in the NBA. That sounds like an all-star rier talent to me
The hyperbole in this post is just straight up
You could literally make the same case for Andrew Bogut being an all-star as you can for Kyle Korver, his impact is deeper than numbers blah blah blah.
Bogut hasn't played enough games but Korver is in the middle of a historically good shooting season so he gets a nod because he's a historically gifted shooter.
what them 4 hawks + lebron gonna do with the likes of anthony davis, harden, steph, durant, and rusty all on the court at the same time???
Bogut has played 36 games for the team with the best record in the league, with the best defense and he's far and away their best defender with the best defensive rating in the NBA. His impact goes further than the numbers and even their offense runs better when he's on the floor.
There's no minimum for amount of games you need to play to be an all-star, if you argue for Kyle Korver being an all-star based solely on his impact then you need to do the same for Bogut
So we gonna act like guys like Wally Szczerbiak and Theo Ratliff weren't all stars in the early 2000's?
Wade and Spo were lobbying for him, but they probably got their own reasons lol.No offense to Korver but it should be Brandon Knight, the Bucks are 29-23 and he has been a major reason why.

Love gotta be feeling some type of way too
