Korver is planned for like he's star level threat. People who think he's just a dude who shoots is really understating his effect on the offense. Not only that but Korver rarely has the ball in his hands, to attack the basket, by the design of their gameplan. Korver is dangerous because he commands Curry-tier attention when he doesn't have the ball and he's so freakishly efficient that a 3 pointer for him is a better shot than a layup for most.

He attacks defenses by commanding an ungodly amount of attention, his constant movement, the fact that if you aren't within arms reach at all times then he's nailed a shot, etc.

No player in the NBA can replicate what Korver is doing right now except Curry. Korver is probably the most dangerous non-superstar offensive weapon in the NBA. That sounds like an all-star rier talent to me

The hyperbole in this post is just straight up :scust:

You could literally make the same case for Andrew Bogut being an all-star as you can for Kyle Korver, his impact is deeper than numbers blah blah blah.

Bogut hasn't played enough games but Korver is in the middle of a historically good shooting season so he gets a nod because he's a historically gifted shooter.

Bogut has played 36 games for the team with the best record in the league, with the best defense and he's far and away their best defender with the best defensive rating in the NBA. His impact goes further than the numbers and even their offense runs better when he's on the floor.

There's no minimum for amount of games you need to play to be an all-star, if you argue for Kyle Korver being an all-star based solely on his impact then you need to do the same for Bogut :yeshrug:

Korver is having a historically efficient season. Bogut is having a great season and has an all-star impact. You act like someone can't be an all-star caliber player even if they don't make the all-start team. Pau Gasol was an all-star level player when he was on the Grizzlies, he was just competing with the likes of Duncan, KG, Shaq, and the like so he had shyt luck. It happens.

Theo Ratliff was a big man, alot of fraudulent big men have played all star games. Jamaal magliore is alot more fraudulent.

Szcerbiak was putting up 20 a game for a twolves team that was near the top of the tough Western conference.

Korver isn't ahit. I don't care about his 3point % when I defender is within 4 feet of him, what was ray Allens %age when an opponent was within 4 feet of him? Probably lower but he had more attempts and was putting up 25 a game leading his team to Ws.

If you ask korver to drop 30 points to get the W he can't do it.

The white man has won ahain. This Daryl morey shyt has to stop.
