Mel is still calling in? :dead:

That nikka was trolling back when I was listening to the Stews in 2004. He had his own theme song when he called in.

As an aside I turned to 92.9 on accident last week and heard what sounded like Mike
Bell with a cigarette hole in his throat.

I think it was like a year ago or so.

Mel called in and told Hugh Douglas.
"You need to get you a slice of watermelon and maybe you'll understand you carpet bagger"

I'm not saying this because of last night performance.

But I'd take Jimmy Butler any day of the week before Trae.

Trae has no mid range game, too turnover prone, can't defend he shoots 35 percent from 3. coach killer.

Jimmy, elite scorer can defend, his middy is money.

As far as Jimmy burning out on teams.

Jimmy felt it was dumb for Minnesota to build the team around Wiggins and Kat he viewed them as soft.

76ers, I think we all can agree it's dumb to pick Tobias Harris over Jimmy.

Or Maxey

What went wrong in Chicago?

Wiggins and butler do the same thing and not enough of things they don't. Kat doesn't want to be a post player.

The new morning show on 92.9.

SquidBilly voice is annoying to me, I grew up in West Ga, I went to school with waaaaay to many cacs that have that identical southern annoying voice he has.

Tiffany Blackman (on radio) sounds white but I'd be lyin to y'all if I'd say I wouldn't want to pipe her cute chinky eyes azz.

Atlanta doesn't need another hockey team. Both attempts failed.

Bruh the group who owned the Thrashers literally did whatever they could to have the team relocated. A hockey team with an owner like Blank or Ressler will do good.

They’ll play in either Alpharetta or somewhere else on the northside, being closer to their target fanbase.

I stay in clay co but I’ll drive to Alpharetta or wherever up there a few times a month to catch a game.

I went to an Atlanta Gladiators game (minor league hockey team that plays in Duluth) a few weeks back & that shyt was packed. They had their own special chant for different situations and players. If a minor league hockey team can do that, an NHL team will thrive.

The Flames was owned by a real estate tyc00n that was in over his head.

The Thrashers began part of a conglomerate that was supersaturated and too bloated to sustain.

Even now they would have to build the arena first, then look to relocate a team.

Hockey can work in Atlanta, but I don’t see it working 30 miles from the city in South Forsyth. Forsyth doesn’t have the tax base to pay for that $2 billion development and the NHL isn’t expanding anytime soon so you’d have to hope a team relocates and that’s what they’re basing this entire project off of. Seems super shaky to me

Sports franchises are moving closer to downtown areas not away from it. The Braves are an outlier and even then they’re still technically in Atlanta

Downtown Atlanta is a nightmare without direct Marta access and we already know how that story goes. A hickey team definitely needs to be north, away from the 75/85/20 clusterfukk.

Breh you’re forgetting that Centennial Yards has already broken ground and will be a multi billion dollar project right across the street from State Farm Arena. If I’m an NHL owner that’s a more attractive development to be close to as opposed to being out in the middle of nowhere

Won’t attract a new team without a new building.
