Started out at 680 but got fired from there for talking about then Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox beating on his wife. Chris Dimino also started at 680.

Withe help of his carpetbagger friends, Steak created 790 the zone. Many of 680 personalities started there, Matt Chernoff, Nick Cellini, Chuck Oliver, John Micheals(toward the end), Brandon Leak.a few other folk.

He sold ownership rights to 790 to buy some radio stations in st. LOUIS. THEN HE and cellini, and domino got fired for making fun of ALS ppl. 790 later went national and fired everybody.

After a while, he came to 680, but fired from there due to budget cuts.

He had a deal with Entercom/Audacy (which owns V103, 92.9, etc) last year. This was going to happen as soon as his non compete and a few other things fell into place

Also i used to work with Steak at a cpl of stops, the co-owner of 790 was a dude named Andrew Saltzman who is currently the VP of the Atlanta Hawks, him and Steak are still tight, im sure the Hawks deal with 92.9 gave him some pull to put in a word for his buddy.

This spot near me call Eden Fresh Market. I don’t think they’re a Georgia based store, and I’ve never seen one anywhere else in the city.
