I don’t get it. I listen to him all the time. He speaks clearly and has decent all around knowledge of local sports. I get tired of peckerwoods who can barely jump two inches acting like they know what goes on inside the locker room. We need at least two former athletes on each sport talk station to add some expertise

Me either and I was paying close attention after listening to the coli. Dude speaks good grammar. He is a bit country and may use slang sometimes but why is that a problem?? You can't compare him to Carl Dukes. That dude is a long time vet in radio.

The crazy thing is he's gotten better but he's not good at speaking. He'd be great in the barbershop just talking loud and talking shyt but on the radio you gotta be a lil more polished. BTW I'm a Randy McMichael fan since he was a Dawg at UGA but he's not good to listen to. I'd rather listen to my brehs Hometeam and Hamilton on 106.3 FM, I chopped it up with Hometeam getting a 30 piece at the JR Crickets off S Cobb and East West Connector, good brotha man

They offer generic takes for the most part...Hugh is clueless about most sports outside of pro football

Randy's slightly better than Hugh in overall knowledge but he's not as skilled as a speaker.

But let's be honest, they both got the chance b/c they're former athletes so I'm not expecting them to sound like Rhodes Scholars but I can't listen to them talk too long on radio. To be fair to Hugh he's gotten better. You can tell he's doing more research. Occasionally he goes left but then that's become part of the show. Fricke is an abomination and I refuse to believe otherwise.

Hugh is occasionally entertaining but never knowledgeable

The hosts I like are knowledgeable about multiple sports. Baseball, basketball, football (college and pro). Anything not related to NFL DL play is out of Hugh's depth
