When is the next mayoral election? Regardless of whether it's his fault or not, Reed is going to be done

He doesn't control the highways. These people on CNN sensationalizing and overestimating the power he has. Dude only controls the city of Atlanta. They of all people should know that most people in metro Atlanta live in the suburbs, not within city limits and that's where most people got in trouble.
yeah folks putting too much blame on him instead of the county governments and state.

She isn't getting home before lateThursday easy
:damn:

It's time they start bring in those military cargo choppers. Just load people on them joints, and take 'em somewhere safe and heated.
Used to live in Camp Creek for a year. All the way to Dunwoody in this? :skip: Shes fukked.
will they ever send small helicopters to rescue people out of this mess? It's suppose to be like 40 and 50 over the next few days that will surely help.

:snoop: IDK.

They had to walk and get their lil brother and sister from school yesterday. :smh:

Would love to be stuck in Twin Peaks or Hooters right about now though. :mjpls:

ATL
they like coming into the city to siphon resources without contributing.

ATL needs to stop letting cities break off too.

ATL needs to absorb decatur as well.

All this fragmentation aint whats up.

Decent rail is a major hurdle for this city.

Read this: http://www.atlantamagazine.com/features/2012/08/01/marta-tsplost-transportation

Dawg the ORIGINAL plans were to go to damn... Grifin.
Agreed. Even fukkin Norcross is splitting into Norcross & Peachtree Corners. Atlanta needs to take control of these places trying to get the benefits of Atl w/o any contributions.

The Marta train is a joke and no one wants to use it cause they wont expand it. No one wants to go to Vine City :scusthov: Obviously something is lacking if theres a train but millions of ppl rather drive. Look at the rail map:

Such a key point that a lot of people don't get. :salute:

A man who gets it.

This stuff is all jurisdictional, and folks don't know that. Ends up becoming political, and helping to fukk up niccas reelection bids.

:ooh:

Deicing equipment is some shyt that isn't as common in the south.

Contrary to popular coli belief, salt trucks, plows are present in many southern cities/towns with a population of close to 6 figures and greater.
stopit.png

Of course there usually aren't nearly as many as northern cities...

Just look at your public works budget man... :snoop:

I was in a town of 20K in the south that had a couple of fukking salt trucks. And detachable plows.

Just stop it.

:heh: ... You ain't lying... That moment when it's trying to turn over and it does that lil' hiccup... Niccas outside talking to the whip, "C'mon baby...c'mon..."

Ford tough. America's real truck.

405 pound-feet of torque. Bout 4,000 pounds of payload. :myman:

Wait til I get that f250 on that lift kit, monster truck tires. Lookin' down on niccas. Literally. :russ:

:dwillhuh:

Shouldn't have never gave you niccas snow. :snoop:

:russ:

Stay safe man.

Salt brine solution. Where do you live man?

:damn: Glad you home.

You and @#1 pick can't be serious with posts like that one... just can't be...

First: Look my above posts.
Second: Think

It would be irresponsible and damn near a breach of public policy for an ENTIRE STATE to not have ONE snow plow. Think about what you're saying man. Think. Does it make sense?

Does it?

Third: Read.

http://content.usatoday.com/communi...ob-hole-swallows-georgia-plow-/1#.Uujcq7ROnIU

And forecasters had this predicted for at LEAST a day and a half. Just stop.

Just look at the MAYOR's tweet mentioning the A's snow plows. It was a State failure of preparedness. And the mayor lacked the vision to get on the state's a$$ in advance.

:snoop:

Lemme tell y'all niccas... In the south, the snow is an experience. It's an event.

People go to the grocery store, stock up, chat in the aisles with familiar faces they haven't seen in a while. Ask how they're family is doin'... and send our warmest regards to they people.

Everybody call they mama, cousins, uncles 'nem and talk about how much snow we could get and ask 'em if they looking at it fall out the window...Some stop off at the package sto'... And get some select beverages to warm the throat and then once home, throw something good on the stove... Some stewed chicken, homemade soup and shyt...(as for me I'm bout to get on these turkey wings) ... oh, and we don't dare think about going in to work.

That's what the fukk we do.

Congrats, above is the 2014 smart dumb nikka post of the year runaway nominee.

First, when we say no equipment, we don't mean no equipment period but not enough to even be effective even if they were prepared. Basically the city of Atlanta is 700k and metro is 5.5 mil. Each day 1.5 to 1.7 mil drive into the perimeter for work. They have numerous roads and highways. They could have been well prepared for the equipment (GDOT and City of A) and they would have still been fukked if all of the businesses, gov't, schools, and shyt worked yesterday. Add to the fact that Atlanta is mountainous and you have an epic problem.

Congrats, your dumbass tried to take a complex problem, intelligently tried simplify it to fingerpoint  and blame the posters and residents and now have make the hall of stupid.

You should learn context breh. When people say Atlanta has none of it, it's about context. It's like saying Shaq can't shoot FT's. He makes 50%, by that alone it proves he can shoot FT's but when people say it can't it is in comparison to the avg NBA player, it about context. You are an idiot. Congrats.

That will never happen. The only outer ring areas that Atlanta would absorb would be College Park and East Point. Folks dont realize but Georgia has the most counties of any state besides Texas. That's the culture here, everybody want to be the King of they own little fiefdom.

But not everybody looks down on MARTA like that. I grew up in Midtown, people in my neck of the woods use the trains the same way folks up north do. I caught the train to go to school, caught it to go to the mall or to the store, even do it sometimes still even though I have a car. Its convenient for me and saves money on parking. Lots of people who live ITP fukk with MARTA. Its just those rednecks in those outer rings cities that have a problem with it. If you live from Dunwoody south to College Park the train is a viable option
