Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Its hard to call someone unathletic from the couch. Look at Peyton Manning....

One of the best ever, but it would appear dude didn't have an ounce of athleticism. But compared to the average person he's a beast.

6'5 and runs a sub 5 in the 40, but to the average viewer hes a slow ass white dude with a big ass head. I remember seeing dude's workout regime and the average person would die trying to finish his daily routine, it was insane how much he actually did. shyt just think about how difficult it is to throw a football 40 times a game at NFL velocity while getting hit and the amount of arm strength and stamina it takes. My arm would fall off.
Damn, Peyton was that fast?

What's crazy is how athletic many lineman are. 300 lbs running sub 5

Yeah, Peyton ran a 4.8 at the combine, for someone that's 6'5" 230 that's pretty impressive. Your average joe wouldn't break 5 seconds on a 40 and would have their hands on their knees gasping for air for 5 mins after the 40 run

Yea nah… Steph has above average athleticism and is 6’3, his Dad being a NBA surely didn’t work against him genetically either lol

This guy really ignored a photo of 7'0 Kevin Durant in the opening post and took issue with 6'2 Steph being described as more skilful than athletic.

I remember years ago when Anderson was in his prime it hit me. In a sport where everyone looked like juicers Anderson was dominating.

Not saying that he's not athletic, same with KD, but their skills are worth much more.

KD is like that to me now. Dude is gifted with height and coordination, but c'mon son, he's a bag of bones dominating the league too.
You’re acting like KD’s body is being used against him lol. That level of coordination at that height is as big of an advantage as you can get in that sport.

To be honest, I saw that post and responded without reading further :manny: but my point still stands.

Steph is the definition of skills > athleticism.

You're talking about him having above average athleticism, yeah maybe compared to a normal person who doesn't play in the NBA.

But at 6'2 and 185 soaking wet in a league where the averages are like 6'7 & 220, what athletic advantages does he have? :jbhmm:

*doubles down on dumb post after being shown why his post is dumb*

focus bro don’t go saying dumb things because U disagree wit my argument

Steph is quicker and has better body control than a lot of players in the league, that’s athleticism even straight line speed Steph is faster than a large % of the players in the league let’s not act like Steph isn’t a consistent finisher or good ball handler which all comes from his agility and speed

Steph is not the definition of that U, guys just think athleticism is John Wall type speed and Zion hops, that’s not all athleticism is agility, change of direction, balance, start and stop are all apart of athleticism

how is Luka more athletic than Steph? Because he’s 6’7? Lmao what about Cory Joseph he more athletic than Steph?
