Picking and choosing what? It says what it says. People also have to obey the laws of the land, so no, there is no killing people because they don't follow the Sabbath. If this were a land controlled by Israelites (you know the people who the Laws were given to), then yes, you're going to obey or be destroyed. Everything you come up with is based on your false understanding of the Bible to begin with, and you continually make yourself look stupid when you try to debate based on your false knowledge which YOU don't even understand.

on the one hand, they certainly have the right to work with only other christians

on the other hand, when jesus was supposedly feeding thousands of people with just a few loaves of bread and some scrawny fish, i doubt he would care about the lack of faith of anybody involved. i think he would probably see it as an opportunity to leave a good impression on the faithless, and even if that didnt work, in this world of cruelty and conservatives, at least one more person will have shown some love to the downtrodden

ill admit i dont know much about the bible i got to the part where a supernatural being crafted a man out of dirt and a woman out of a rib, compared that to the massive amount of evidence that discredits it, and decided to put the novel down
