At what point will Disney and WB combine and produce a JL v Marvel Movie?

I am so sick of most of the corny ass superhero movies marvel puts out beside gotg and Deadpool. If they can bring the grittinesses of DC and get a great director I’m down:yeshrug:

I liked Aquaman and the first Wonder Woman, Shazam was good, Suicide Squad 2 looks promising. You got Batman, Black Adam and The Flash coming up. WB will be alright if those movies hit.

Why would WB do this:childplease:
The Batman license alone is worth most of Marvel

Lol your question is backwards. We’re talking about films why would Disney do this. Why put their biggest competitor in a position to be seen by more people. As of right now Disney makes the biggest movies and that’s pretty cut and dry. Letting the wb piggyback on their success and even potentially showing some of those wb execs how to truly make a critically praised and a financially second to none movie and possibly give away some of their secret sauce on way they conduct their film business.

This is just something that won’t happen for anytime in the foreseeable future

no, I said it right, why would WB do this? You talk about the critical praise but WB is the one with the Oscars.

When superhero movies have just about run their course and public interest starts to wean off?
Then boom they split it 50/50 and put out what will inevitably and easily be the highest grossing movie to ever be done?
:jbhmm:

I mean it's an easy huge payday for both.
You think they could put aside the dumb business ego shyt and get double the money?:patrice:
No, disney not gon break bread you see how they tried to run Sony pockets? And it wouldn’t benefit Disney. WB needs it more and they probably wouldn’t want them telling them who to cast and how to make the script

I would've said never before ATT bought WB but since then I would expect to have ATT ready to sell everything to the highest bidder in the next decade.
This is the only way it happens. If AT&T sells DC properties to Disney or a studio friendly to Disney. Otherwise too much sharing and accompanying pressure in making the biggest superhero movie ever to get it done.

There are a million reasons why this wouldn't happen but Disney not seeing any value in the IPs is not one of them.

Batman by its lonesome is a property Disney would love to acquire.

Also the DC movies, whether you or critics love them or not, have been profitable which is all that really matters in the long run.

The one thing I am 100% sure of is that ATT will one day start selling off the pieces they acquired at WB.
And no one will be in a better position to snatch up the DC stuff than Disney.
