I've met a few that would...

You'd be surprised at how much hurt and rejection that Asian men have internalized over the years. I have a couple Asian friends that I go to school with. It took them a while to "find themselves" in order to make themselves presentable to girls on the whole. Tons and tons of Asian men are usually perusing and lurking the PUA forums in order to try and get themselves a date. It's really hard finding a date when you're an Asian man. Here's some of the things you have to put up with:

• Small dikk stereotype. Whether or not it's true, it still hurts an Asian man's chances from the get-go.
• Nerd Stereotype where women see an Asian man as more of a meal ticket to be taken advantage of rather than an ambitious, interesting guy.
• Seen as nothing more than easy homework help because if a girl is cute, it's easily given.
• Seen as boring. Someone easily passed off for a "bro" type that will treat the pretty girl like shyt.

Being a good, hard-working guy that gets walked on all the time will lead to some really, really intense angst. You'd be well-served to be mindful of the kind of mindset a guy will develop being at the bottom of the dating totem pole despite being someone of good foundation and character.

It's so funny that all the things Black Men who date White Women say about Black Women, are the same things that White men who date Asian Women, say about White Women.

@Sierra_Mist had a brilliant post a while back that went along the lines of "When the rest of the country has a cold, the black community has pneumonia." It's stuck with me since I first started posting here.

It's true. The social ills that plague gender politics in this country are pretty universal, they are just really pronounced among black folks in this country. Women and men treat each other very similarly in a society, but lots of women are getting really angry at men and not realizing why. They can't figure out that being shat on in their 20's and watching some girl get run through by tons and tons of guys will kinda turn off the marriage impulse. They can't figure out that the idea of gambling half of everything you own that you'll love each other forever is extremely unappealing considering that women initiate 75% of divorces.

There's just nothing in it for men anymore. We all die alone anyway, we can spend holidays in a wide variety of ways, and it feels fantastic to be your own man. Why give that up? Why should men give up their autonomy to take this gamble? What case can women make here?
