4:44 was Jay again doing what Jay does. It's not trend hopping when people perceive what he was doing as "conscious". All Jay did was make his version (a watered down version) of a Nas album. With Nas, you're getting poignant observations and commentary with some depth. Jay is just giving you the surface level, which is why it was superficial.

Because it wasn't him hopping on a trend. There's little "nuggets" sprinkled throughout the album, but most of it is spent with him talking about things he overcame, his family, and leaving his legacy than it is him talking about the Black experience as a whole.

It’s like saying, flue is a more widespread problem than disease X, and you say no X killed a million people 100 years ago and still kills people. But it’s still not as widespread. Discrimination comes in different form, murder is not the only one.

I’m not saying that anything is correct I’m trying to establish logic and consistency in arguments, which is rarely highly prioritized on this site.

And it shows in how she delegates projects and tasks...
