This will forever be the problem with media and people who don't watch the Redskins games on sundays. Media keep regurgitating the same nonsense everyday and people take it as fact. The two major hits he took this season had nothing at all to do with the read option. They were on plays that broke down which prompted him to scramble like any other QB in the NFL would in order to extend the play or get the first down. The major problem was he didn't protect himself (i.e. sliding, getting out of bounds quickly) while scrambling.

He's a smart kid. I'm sure he's learned his lesson now. It's about him protecting himself and not about the read option

You hit it on the head 100%, because Robert addressed the media to say the same shyt after the Atlanta game. He was crying while he was saying it too
And he will most def say this all offseason while he's getting back into shape
He'll have to address it, he'll talk about how he's older and smarter now and wont take as many chances as he did in the past.
He'll still get hit as any QB would, but for the most part he'll be fine running whatever it is our offense evolves into
