Folks fail to realize that shyt like this happens on a regular basis, it's just not filmed as much as it is nowadays:

I don't even give a shyt about Travis, but lowkey this is a "get your shyt in" thread blaming the artist, rather than the piss poor staffing, policing, and etc. Brehs acting like Travis Scott yelled at motherfukkers to run through the poorly guarded gates and get fukked up off of laced drugs.

It's the crowds fukking fault for bumrushing the shyt like there was money at the end of the tunnel.

It's 2021 breh. Lessons should have been learned by now. Segmenting the standing area to give security and emergency access, water stations, number limits etc

Putting a halt on the show to allow some EMTs through isn't even outlandish anymore. Rock shows will tell people to chill in the mosh pit if its getting ugly. Even the craziest metal dudes will fall back if need be. It's not the 80s and 90s anymore

Somebody gotta get sued to get the point across. Doesn't help that Travis thinks smashing through barricades and stampeding is some cool shyt he wants at his show. He got lucky, until now

I have no idea what the contract would be in terms of who holds ultimate responsibility for security but you know the other stakeholders could easily all shift blame on Travis and his team with Travis actively encouraging people to break in to the festival.

either way Travis won’t be performing for a LONG time. Read he already struggled to get the necessary insurance for his shows because of the breh he encroached to jump off a 3rd floor at a show and other safety issues. No insurance company going to cover a Travis show now

All iknow is Apple was filming and I saw a lot of videos of people telling them to point the camera in certain spots to get people help. Camera people told them FOH

Yeah, it did not help that Travis instigated the shyt, but there were some dikkheads that fueled the fire. Like Limp Bizkit and some others that have the crowd doing stupid demonic shyt, instead of having legit crowd control. Overall, everybody took the L with the exception of those that were trying to help out folks that did not see what was bound to happen from the get go.

I’m gonna defend Travis in this situation about him continuing to perform while people are passing out.

I’ve been to countless festivals and people passing out is pretty common. Like I remember the height of deadmouse they were at the festival I was at and people were passing out left and right in the crowd with the ambulances everywhere.

And every time I’ve witnessed this at a festival they never stop performing their music.

Like how was Travis supposed to known while on stage in front of thousands of people that they were dying ??

95% of the people in this thread have never been to a live concert for a hype artist.

I saw N.E.R.D back in the day and ppl were getting KO'd and fxcked up all over the place, and Pharrell was actually commanding MORE fxckery. Its usually not nearly this extreme to the point of mass death, but ppl passing out happens at this types of shows. Travis has performed a thousand of these to know. Dudes were out here injecting themselves with chlorox and crashing the show trampling mfs at the gate. and they were wildly understaffed for the shyt. Youre a professional musician in the middle of a huge performance youre not exactly going to know the details of the situation.

Dudes in here like " OMG HE SAW AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON??" People passing out or getting carted off by medics is a normal occurrence. As an artist you're told by the venue/event promoter "we'll handle everything just keep performing. WE will tell you if it gets too bad and WE will tell you if the show needs to stop." If anyone is to blame here its the promoter for not telling him that the situation was not under control. Thats literally his job. Travis is the performer it really shouldn't be on him to make that judgement call. Call it lack of awareness on his part but in the moment hes probably thinking its just another show except this time its more people.

Speaking of which, Black Friday is right around the corner :wow::wow: shyt’s about to get ugly for it this year, I can already tell.

Breh with the shortages of consoles and etc, thank the lord that I'm retired from retail because I would legit bust a cap in these fukking nutcases around the holiday season.

Travis is getting dragged into this y’all. I know he’s your boy but he’s not getting off Scott free. You can bring up 30 plus year old concerts all you want but that’s not going to help in this one.

Why y’all trying to blame Travis for this :stopitslime:

y’all think he sat there and planned out security and crowd control? You think he knows anything about the venue infrastructure?

this is on the venue and live nation….

yeah he was demonic for continuing to perform while people were dying.
Because alot of white people died
