Damn they railroading this nikka.
if a lot of those audience lawsuits go through it won't just be him fukked but the whole concert industry. the industry will adjust and set new standards to offset liability from themselves to the audience.

i don't think people understand that. prepare to sign waivers and be extra monitored at any future festivals, just like lawsuits from overdoses killed a lot of edm festivals which ironically led to the current golden era of rap shows in their place. whatever comes from this will impact all show goers not just performers.

I didn't know Travis Scott has a history of unruly crowds and encouraging his fans to act out. I watched a video the other day that he got arrested for inciting a riot once for hyping his fans to push security while at a concert and one of his dumb ass fans climbed some shyt and he told that to jump off of it and they did and became partially paralyzed and later sued Scott. I feel like some of these antics are rappers obsessed with wanting to be like punk rock stars and having mosh pits and wild fans. shyt is weird there was really a culture with his fans.

The bad part is they have a lot of evidence of the rock stars taking control of the audience at concerts. Stopping the show to make sure people get helped up etc

You even have videos of rappers taking control to do the same.

Only time you see Travis stop the show was to scream at a Hot 97 employer in the middle of Summer Jam :francis:

This dude ego is unchecked sad people had to die to do it

"This will be forgotten in a week" gang quiet as fukk right now.

I dunno if you cats are diehard Travis Scott stans or just completely divorced from reality, to think this would blow over so quickly.

Fred.

I'm a fan but I don't think it will.

This is definitely going to take some time. Especially with him just getting into the swing of things with Utopia; not sure how he even approaches that release now.

It's been 10+ days and Nike just indefinitely postponed his shoe release.

Nike just postponed his shoe drop
It would've made a bigger statement if they dropped him all together.

His shoes are not outrageously priced, it’s just resale value which is insane that drives the hype. His last pair retailed for $160 and are reselling for about $12-$1500 for every size currently with no drop because of this tragedy.

Nike stuck in a sticky situation. They were apart of the hype of Astro Week and has for all 3 festivals. Hell the whole crowd at the baseball game left the stands to go lineup near the Bluetooth beacon for supposedly a drop of this shoe. I can’t honestly think of what kinda statement they’d say by dropping him, this soon at least; especially since he isn’t 100% at fault of the tragedy.

The person who was partially paralyzed was apparently pushed and didn’t jump, not that it makes much difference
