Say what you want, but the little boy is already toughened up. Most kids that age are crying even if they aren't really hurt after to taking that fall.

All I see is a father pushing, encouraging and preparing his son for the travails of life. Great.

I personally wouldn't let a kid that young use a treadmill but I understand the father's motives.

My pops was crazy and low key abusive but I’ll give him some credit for conditioning my body to have muscle early. Had me carrying grocery bags at 2 and doing push ups and sit ups with him young. Also went on a health frenzy young when he told me he was diabetic and it’s hereditary. Think that’s why I have a lot of natural strength now to this day it doesn’t take long for me to get back in shape and build muscle

With a treadmill:mjlol:

We have enough gym rats and personal trainers. Not enough scholars and spiritual gurus. We strongly recommend building a strong mind before anything:respect:

I don't support it.

That kid looks to be 3 or 4 years old.
At that age, I don't think he needs to be running on a treadmill. There's no purpose to that training at 3.

He can get regular exercise just exploring the world and playing with other kids.

If it were me, I'd focus on exposing him to as many things as I could. Teaching him reading and numbers. Parks. Museums. Social events with other kids. Things like that.

Is it the worst thing I've seen a parent do? No.
I don't think the father is being outrageous.

It's just not what I would do.
I think there's a time and place. For me it's not 3 years old.

I have no problem with helping his child learn how to overcome obsticles and gain a habit of being physically active. I have a problem with his need to show it on the internet for clout. Raise your children, but also protect them from the deprivations of the internet. Putting pictures and videos up on the internet of your child is not helping them, but only feeding the parents who do it thirst for internet fame.

Putting it on the internet is absolutely ridiculous, and exposes that their true intentions may not actually be considering what is best for their child.
