I haven't seen the movie i n a long time. Like since I was a kid but I don't particularly remember it being a hip-hop movie. I'm going to have to watch it again as an adult.

That basketball scene still fukks me up man. Her fukking leg, I was like 8 or 9 when I first saw it so I didn't know wtf to do.

Apparently any movie with black people is hip hop.

Samuel L: Not playing games here, got no time for that. Life's got no time for your little boy games. Leave all that nonsense at home when you come here. Alright, gonna put it on speed today. I ain't stopping to give you any little tips either. You sink or swim on your own today, cause I'm not always gonna be there to hold your hand for ya.

:salute:

That prick was pretty much a deadbeat dad :beli:

Maybe he wasn't Cliff Huxtable, but one way or another he schooled the kid on how to get on out there

We all know the ending of the story:

He couldn't save his sis who ends up ODing down the road or works the streets. As for lil homie, he got got.

I'd like to think that he went to another group home that his auntie set up, kept hustlin but stayed in school..it kinda felt like he was gon' be the only one in the fam that didn't get swept away by death/addiction
