It's not something that'll ever really impact a residential customer. We've been able to send data through fiber optics at ridiculous speeds for a while now.

This will never see any real world use cases. ISPs won’t allow it, hardware can’t process data that fast(not even that close), it’s expensive as shyt, and most people still have copper connections everywhere

I'll need to read this after I get out of the meeting, but if they make internet speed 4.5 million times faster on their end, you would still be limited by how fast the network its connected to can move data itself, right?
