how is the game?

i was watching reviews like before you buy and the comments are hating hard, i'm assuming because of the main character. shyt is crazy when you think about it, these same people say racism doesn't exist, but then get mad because one of the main characters is black.

i always think if a movie like the matrix was released today, these same people would get mad because the oracle is black

It's the best since Odyssey imo, which I put 100s of hours in over the span of two years. From a gameplay perspective it's the best ever and it isn't close. Likewise with the graphics. I haven't gotten to play with Yasuke yet, but I like Naoe and she feels more like an actual assassin than any protagonist before her, imo. The combat is pure arcade in typical AC fashion, but it's mostly fun and the best it's ever been.

The story is so-so thus far, but I've literally spent 90% of my time doing side activities. I clear pretty much everything between me and my main quest objective and dont fast travel. One thing I haven't seen is the number of side quests that Odyssey had, many of which were great. All in all, this was a much needed installment. A portion of dorks were hoping it would flop, but it's not only performing well, but is actually a genuinely fun time sink.

You're gonna notice something by the side of a road, get jumped by an Elite and another clan/gang appears within the Objectives. I love it

Even found one random gang from investigating ANOTHER gang. It makes sense for this AC because Japan is in crisis mode atm and everybody getting aggy.
I hope they the first Expansion is just as good

The game just looks so fukking good when you're playing. Like I'm at the takasuki castle just running around with the sunlight reflecting off of Naoe’s hood and the environment and it really might be the best looking game I've played on this gen

Had one try to sneak up on me while I was trying to meditate. Bruh had a skull above his head but I was leveled for that region. Got one shotted lol and had to go back at him.

Yeah, I wish games like these would actually make it easy to have both the main quests and side quest objectives and whatnot be viewable and selectable without going into menus to pick one over the other. Especialy in big ass games like this when they throw so many of them at you all at once. At least give me like a main objective and 2-3 side quests simultaneously viewable and adjustable without stopping gameplay with menus. SOme games do this and some like this one just don't. It's annoying.

More games need to utilze on-screen sub-menus while in-game. AC:S is even more perfectly suited for that fomat since you can put the character on auto-movement whether on vehicles or just walking/running in general.

Am I bugging or I don't know where the fukk to go next? Lol it just says go talk to X but there's no actual mission marker there. I know the scouts can scout out the area but I have no scouts available. Feels like I'm stuck.

you can get your scouts back if you to the scout shacks pay 200 to get them back or just go back to the hideout

Either replenish your scouts at the hideout/remote bases or use the clues/map to find it on your own. Scouts also replenish when the seasons change

When I was looking through the map, I couldn't find anything as it was saying the person is in X location but I don't see that location on the map at all.

I just dealt what that b*stard and he was a skull for me too. I was lvl 33 so
Killed me a few times until I said fukk it and used the Katana push and down the cliff he went

That happened to me. I just went to where the directions say and just find a high point to scan from.

When I found it, it was tiny sliver of cloudy area that I didn't get within 100 meters of. I shouldve did what buddy said above with the scouts. I waited till the season changed on its own to get my scouts back
