If what BG said here is true according to the play test guide, those morons who hate Yasuke can just not use him altogether. Though I would find it weird for them to make a character in the game and have him be pretty much optional.

From what I hear, there are a few mandatory missions that must be played with either Yasuke or Naoe, but yeah outside of that you can choose who you want.
It does kinda bother me, because I can tell already most people will be sticking with Naoe if they can and Yasuke will be benched most of the time. Going to be interesting to see people stream this game. Not surprising that Ubi would decide to have a Black lead character and give him the option of being completely ignored if the player chooses.

You can switch back from character to character depending on the situation and how you want to complete the mission with the exception of a few missions it seems, friend.

I didn't mind origins but Valhalla was so bad, its in my bottom 5 games ever played. Is there any info on the size of the map?? Hopefully not as big but this will be more tolerable since Japan is more interesting than Valhalla shyt
This might be the Concord of the Assassin Creed series saleswise. Just saying.
I mean they did kind of do the same thing with Odyssey and Valhalla granted they still the reasoning part of storyline purposes. Even Syndicate had it outside of mandatory missions.
At least with this one they’ve seem to learn their lesson and not pull the bait and switch like they did with Odyssey and Valhalla.
