6 groups completed with 11 people spared so far
Just when I think the board is filled up, another crazy MFer with a crown turns the corner on a dusty ass path looking at me like :demonic:
Like Gawd damn, can't you jump somebody else?! :mjtf:
Then the moonlight hits the ring of bodies you couldn't see in the darkness and then I see the skull next to their name :lupe:

I'm 27 hours into AC:Shadows but to me, GoT is superior. AC:S so far to me is a very good game and a return to form but it's missing the magic. It's missing that certain touch. Feels kinda empty/souless. I still think Ghosts is better looking as well. The voice acting is better in Ghosts. The protagonist is better in Ghosts even though I fukk with Naoe and Yasuke. Jin was more layered and unforced. More natural. Combat is better in Ghosts. AI is still dumb on harder difficulties at some points in AC but they were also kinda dumb in ghosts too. Ghosts was more challenging on harder difficulties though, especially the dual fights. GoT is an authentic samurai game. But like I said. I'm only 27 hours in but that's my initial impression. I was floored by GoT like 10 hours into my playthrough.
An update from my earlier post after putting in about 11 more hours. Naoe might be on the spectrum. Finally unlocked play with Yasuke and have been rolling with him throughout the land tryna get a feel for his playstyle. Game was obviously developed for deep playthrough with Naoe in mind. The mechanics and overall play seem to just fit around her like a glove. Yasuke is forced and Unnatural :mjpls: but man annihilating nikkas with him is so satisfying. However, tryna clear a castle with him is ass. I mean I can slaughter 10 guys but I'm playing on higher difficulty so these fukking Daimos are rough. Try fighting two Daimos and a couple Ronin with archers/shooters picking you off from afar is brutal. Methodically slitting throats from the shadows with Naoe is so much more rewarding and effective.

I love how common folks revere and respect Yasuke when he walk through town bowing their heads and shyt. Gasping at his size and complexion :dame:

I also like how the soldiers will speak with fear while fighting him calling him a demon and talk about how this one man is slaughtering the entire squad. I wish they would've made him more a shinobi/samurai hybrid.

It honestly feels like the game nudges you the majority of the time to play as Naoe as clearing castles and exploration with Yasuke as ass. Yasuke can clear out the majority of the forts if you're skillset is good enough, but Yasuke can't even do that because he can't even climb the majority of walls.

I'm starting to believe that you're meant to use both of them when clearing castles with the viewpoints as the switch off to do it, but even that comes off as clunky at times.

Honestly think they wanted to give players some leeway.

Naoe is for exploration and gathering intel. Yasuke is for clearing out castles and forts. Naoe can be used for fighting...it's just gonna require more patience. Yasuke can stealth but a 6'2" Black man in 1579 Japan won't AND shouldn't be as good at it as a trained Japanese shinobi

But even think that’s kind of clunky to @Hathaway when you have enemies that can take him out from a distance and him not having the speed to dodge.

Even Naoe is a formidable player if you level her up high enough and can take enemies out in one hit, which Yasuke can’t.

Little quality of life improvements would make his gameplay so much better.

True, Naoe is actually a lot of fun once leveled up a little. I keep a katana as my secondary weapon and use a tanto (close quarters) or kusarigama (in open spaces) for the primary.

Just want to get that upgrade that will allow her to finally assassinate the big dudes swinging the kanobi baseball bat-ish weapon.

Finally unlocked Yasuke. Naoe feels weightless compared to Yasuke. That kick he does that sends people flying cracking me up :mjlol:

Yasuke can block projectiles. DPS wise Yasuke is always higher unless we talking about assassinations. Even then, I'm taking out Guardians with no effort.

I don't even finish skills because the enemy is already dead and I'm playing on Expert.
