I finished it a couple days ago absolutely loved it
Bayek the goat assassin and protagonist, hrs just a good dude man always trying to help out brehs and brehettes
Egypt had to be the best setting for an ac game ever, there's so much going on, it doesn't have a ton of roofs to run around but as far as the liveliest setting is for it down
Ending spoilers
I was pretty sad when Aya tossed bayek in the bushes my boy is a G he did everything you asked could have at least made another son! I got choked up a lil

Is this better than Black Flag?

Depends on what you're looking for.

Open-world: Black Flag

-I personally was torn of this one, but I give BF the slight edge for simply having more meaningful content that expanded upon Edward and the world itself. Origins does this too, yes, but a lot of the quests can kinda same-y after awhile and just not that memorable in hindsight.

Combat: Origins

-Both aren't exceptionally great or anything, but I'll AC:O points for at least feeling more engaging.

Story: Black Flag

-Edward's entire character arc and BF's cast are so damn memorable that I really have no choice. Bayek as a character is cool and all, but the pacing, storytelling, and overall cast were just off at points. I would explain deeper, but I don't wish to spoil anyone here.

Setting: Even

- Both games explore AE and the Golden Age of Piracy in ways no other games have done before. Top tier, imo.

I wouldn't quite say that; Aya was likely more distraught over "his" death than Bayek ever was. After killing all the dudes responsible, there was likely nothing left between them then because their relationship was literally holding on by a thread due to him. Putting it into perspective, something like that would damage any relationship significantly. Would you do anything to "return to the past" like Bayek if such an event occurred? That's the honest question there and it makes me sympathize with him more.

Completely disagree.

He wasn't a simp. His wife was trash. Any woman who could walk away from the memory of her child for ANY reason is trash.
She was trash too and knowing this her feeling this way about the memory of their child he still wanted to be with her...and then she left him=simp.
