I mostly finish with a steated power bomb. It's easy and feels safe for my body. I have switched it up throughout time and would probably go with something else if the far fetched big break ever happened. Thats the beauty of doing this PT.


I drove a buddy out to Florida to do a hardcore show as a favor. Some guys no showed due to money and he put me on for some battle royal of some sort. It was last minute. Wannabe CZW guys. I normally stray away from any shows that involve breaking lights over people. I agreed to allow myself to get hit over the back with a bat wrapped in barb wire semi stiff for $300. Hurt like hell, guy was careless with placement of the hit. I yoked him up after the match in the back but calmed down after a few pain killers.

Roughly how long does it take before someone has the in-ring training to become a pro wrestler?

How is one legitimized as a actual professional writer? What I mean is...is there some sort of universally recognized certificate? Something similar to a SAG card? Or do promoters just guess who's real and who's fake?

Where do workers learn to do advanced techniques(450s, Shooting Stars, top rope moonsauts to the outside of the ring)? Is that included in the general training or do you have to seek vets that specialize in those spots after you begin your pro career?


Basically the same question for taking chair shots, falling on tacks, ladder work, etc.

Look at boxing commission laws for each state, a lot of them cover wrestling as a combat sport still. A lotta guys just do it without any papers, nobody checks on wrestlers lol.

Some guys wrestle first match after a month, some a year. You usually start with a schools in house promotion or affiliates.

You're taught the basics, the bigger moves are done with continued education and seminars. I had to travel out of state to be taught the 450.

The hardcore stuff is taught with time. A vet should guide you with that. You usually take your first stiff shots with someone assigned to protect you in the ring.
