you can't judge a country by the few people that have gone to America,

that's like me judging Japanese people by the few I see in England and say they all carry cameras and wear back packs

I didn't say all. I said a lot (many, whatever). It is a common stereotype that English people have poor dental hygiene. I am saying I have found that to be true from the ones I have met. If it's not true then why don't you address where the stereotype comes from. Why ask people to ask you questions if you are going to be sensitive about it, especially on this site?

Do you say knickers and get offended when you hear the word knickers?

Do you eat blood pudding?

ive never dated outside my race

usa is way more segregated unlike England, so that maybe why. I haven't really noticed it myself.

:salute: for not falling for the trap.

However, I don't believe that segregation shyt for one minute. "They" want the black race eliminated.

My take is that more English people just keep their natural teeth. Kids in the states are in braces as soon as its noticed that a tooth is even slightly askew. So its not that English people have bad teeth, but that Americans prefer to straighten their teeth.

I disagree. I see plenty of Americans with crooked teeth but the British I have seen with bad teeth take it to a whole new level with the yellow tint and that cavities you can see from the front. :huhldup:I'm not saying they are all like this but it seems like when English teeth are bad...they are really bad.

im not sensitive about it, im saying it doesn't apply to myself or any of the people I know.

I think the stereotype comes fro 1880's when people had poor dental hygiene and because americans still think England is in the 1880's I think they still harbour the stereotype
