Naw it was just that one time.nothing should smell like burned electronics in there. Probably got your amps at a low impedance and they're getting hot.

Bad install smh...and possibly too small of a gauge wire. Everyone wants to buy those cheap ass copper clad aluminum wire kits from Walmart or autozone but don't realize yout have to go double the size of the wire just to be safe. Using 10 gauge wire on a 50a load amplifierI would check the wiring. Had this same issue and happened to check the fuse holder leading into the amp and the damn positive wire was barely even in the damn box...seems that it was causing arcing.

You must have a big car...Naw, I purchased the equipment myself and had this place my friend recommended to install it.
Was 0/1 power and a 250A fuse going into a Kicker 1500.1. They just did a shytty job on the install.

Just replace it if its not under warranty. Training to find someone to fix it would cost you double a door speaker.how much is it to repair a blown speaker in your car door ?

If your just swapping a door speaker yes but make sure you do both doors while you're at it.I have no experience with something like that. Is it something that can be youtubed and done by an amateur ?
