shyt was crazy...being in my 30's now and having been to midnight screenings and block buster type joints.....it seems normal now

Back then there were lines hours before the movie started, because our particular theater didnt pre-sell.
It was like one of them comic book conventions...people were dressed up like Jedi's and had light sabers and Yoda costumes and storm troopers....

there was a guy that was arrested because he had a sword that he spray-painted green

They would be having light sabre battles in the lobby.

Because the movie was so popular me and another guy knew what scenes would be playing by the run-time....

we would always go in the theater when this was playing:





By the following weekend I knew the fight choreography by heart...

Oh...that opening weekend...people were standing up clapping...You have to understand that weekend was all the die hard Star wars people so if Ewan Mcgregor took a shyt on the movie they would have been screaming and clapping

Ahh...thats a good one...I remember there were people screaming in there...cant front the movie was scary even being a usher with a broom in my hand in the corner....because that movie was all about atmosphere and being in a pitch black theatre..people actually though it was real found footage.

I remember a guy came with his kid...kid may have been like 13-14.....they ended up leaving about halfway through....lil kid was shook

No fights. We had to call the cops on some Bebe's once because they were talking through the movie and after several warning they got beligerent


People used to to sneak in movies constantly back then..one person would buy a ticket and then try to creep to the exit and let friends in.

if they were slick about it I didnt say anything....but if I got a call on the walkie - talkie..i had to take action...


Never saw anybody smoking...I saw a guy drinking a beer one time....he had to be escorted out
