Aside from Eric Gordon, The Rockets have no advantage over The Thunder..

Not really..Capella playing off high screen & rolls and a bunch of spot up shooters...no post play...it's the same fukking squad
Not the same squad. More two way and defensive oriented players. Houston's way more balanced than they were a year ago. Tougher defensively in the paint and perimeter.

Plus it feels like you're downplaying the impact of CP3 on this squad versus Beverley. Even I underestimated it at first, but he's a huge upgrade over our guards from last year

OKC are tailor made for playoffs basketball and pose a match up headache for any team. They are one of the best rebounding teams in the league (key aspect of PO basketball), they play great defence (especially against the big teams which shows they can turn it on when they really need to) , They have got the length/size advantage against almost any team they will face the PO and unlike some great defensive teams in the past like Grizzlies, they also have elite offense to boot.

casuals don't realise that some teams are built to really shine and perform better in the playoffs when the game slows down and gets gritty.

As things stands, this is how I rate the chances of teams winning the championship this season injuries permitting

OKC as the real favourites followed by Houston (if fully fit) then warriors. Jury is still out on Toronto and Celtics.

Nowadays they call any guy that can't contribute offensively a defensive stopper...The Shumpert Rule..I don't see anyone on that roster that can present issues to OKC's primary scorers nor do I see anyone who is going to alter what Steven Adams brings to the table. Nene in doses will battle but I don't think at this stage of his career he can go a series with him

They won’t even face eachother in the playoffs as currently seeded. Unless Goldenstate is planning on tanking that number 1 seed....

Which they might :ohhh:

Luc has a better statistical case for DPOY than Paul George does.

“Paul George leads the league in steals” isn’t typically enough anymore.

The spacing on OKC is nowhere near The Rockets. Houston has shooters everywhere.
