I got my hopes up last year when we had that brief period where we heard stories of ICE going after them. But it’s back to normal.

ICE has given enough Hispanics wake up calls already I wish they would focus more on the damn Koreans and Chinese already. I’m tired of seeing their elitist asses. The Japanese mainly come here as transients to go to school mainly in NYC to go into education or something or go back home. It’s not like the Koreans and Chinese who stay stuck under us in the hoods and never leave.

Sure they do. Illegals are only unable to access many federal public housing programs - but they're still eligible for some of them, including:

• Some federal multifamily buildings
• Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
• McKinney Homeless Programs (except for the McKinney Section 8 moderate rehabilitation program)
• Shelter Plus Care
• Supportive Housing
• HOME Rental Assistance
• Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties (unless there are other housing program rules for the property to which immigration restrictions may apply)

Additionally, plenty of states & municipalities run their own public housing programs - and these programs often don't have citizenship or permanent residence as an eligibility requirement.

I can't knock people for wanting a good deal. The economy might be "good" right now, but rents are exploding, and the cost of living only continues to increase. I can't in good faith demand that cash-strapped people pay more for services willingly - its like expecting poor or working class people not to shop at Wal-Mart to show solidarity with unionized grocery workers. They just can't afford to do that.

It's the responsibility of the federal government to enforce immigration law and ensure that situations like the Asian nail salon scam don't ever come to fruition in the first place.

So many black women are strong, independent and intelligent. Please explain why on earth they’d visit anything but a black owned salon..?

I know this forum has hella cats from NY. Something HAS to be done about this. The caption from the original video on Facebook stated that the police arrested the black women and did NOTHING to the Asians.

Since some of you are apparently dumb and refuse to read captions, here is the full story from THE SOURCE: The woman being beaten and squirted in the face with acetone had her eyebrows completely removed and refused to pay for terrible service. Instead of apologizing, THIS happened. The other two women you see also being hit with sticks and squirted with chemicals were in the salon getting serviced when the incident broke out. They had NOTHING to do with it and were only trying to stop it from happening.
