I get her point that white supremacy effects all minorities, and how this is relevant to everybody in the oscars but you need to fight your own battles. It's not like they have the inability. Plus it's pretty much fact but black people get treated like sh1t and are looked as lesser beings by every other race.
It is amazing. Absolutely amazing, how this issues had turned from that of represtantion for all people #oscarssowhite was about there being so many white people and so few minorities. Not *explicitly* about there not being enough black people. Everyone and their fukking dog lambasted it, attacked it, criticized it(Asians, whites, and yes, even some blacks). Nobody wanted to step up to it because "it should be based on talent and not on coluour" bla, bla hopeful bullshyt. But then Chris R0ck came in, made a mockery of their show and pulled back the curtain. Now everone is "Yeah, they should be more inclusive and notice talent from minorities...but why was it all about black people". I gurantee you guys, if this thing had backfired and the old structure won; people would be attacking Chris Rock across the isle and Ming Na and jeremy Lin would have said nada. They would have said "At the end of the day, it's all about hard work. It shouldn't be about skin colour". But because it did blow up, now they want a piece of the pie.

Like I said, it's like 3 Asians that have an issue with the oscars/Asian casting.
