It reminds me when Eva Longoria gave that “Latina” with the salsa accent when talking about Biden being elected. Showing she’s still “representing”.It’s pathetic, how much these people want to be accepted.

That's according to the COLI. The one place where you have posters from west coast/down south/Midwest that act like they are experts on dominicans and probably only encountered 1 or 2 in real life
Most dominicans are brown to black complexion, even if you're a white dominican you more than likely have black dominicans in your family. Theres no racism amongst dominicans because of skin color, Dominican Republic never had a history of structural racism or anything like the Jim crow era. We had a crazy dictator back in the day who tried to get down with hitler, but everyone universally hates that man

I clearly live in a different reality because I don’t know what none of this Japanese stealing jazz and lofi and kpop stuff is. My kids aren’t listening to it as far as I can tell and I damn sure aren’t. I saw the trailer for this movie and I wasn’t going to see it anyway but it looks corny as all hell. I don’t think the ricans are messing with it either.

If dominicans were truly racist against people bc of the color of their skin, we wouldve in a civil war in the country for the past 60 years. Most dominicans are brown-black skinned, the beef with Haiti back in the day had nothing to do with the color of their skin. We are on the same island yes buy haiti is basically a foreign country. Different Language, Different Religion, Different Culture. It's tribalism, dominicans don't hate other dominicans because of the color of their skin, only in the coli people really believe that
