Back in the day we weren't using the word much. I don't remember hearing nikka much from anyone and it was rarely used in hip hop in the 80's. The 90's had rappers getting reckless with it and we started using it more. The Ricans and Dominicans then leeched it off of us. I'm at the point where I hate hearing it and am trying to avoid saying it.

The word was said but nowhere near the way it is now. It wasn't even part of my vocabulary in the 80's.
Dominicans piss me off because most of them are dark skinned, kinky hair, Big Papi/Sammy Sosa looking types but are in denial. I always see a group of black men and then I get closer and they're speaking Spanish. Their features are more African than most of the people in my family but according to them they're not black. Plus they hate Haitians
