My point is some naive ass people in this thread are making airbnb out to be some rinky dink home where you share the house( a big lol!) with your hosts and other people when that is NOT the case and there are many high scale airbnbs some more high scale than hotels and CHEAPER.

Airbnb and VRBO are great when traveling with a group of people. I've had stays in Hawaii, Boston, Puerto Rico, Miami, and a few others and used those services without a problem. I've only been denied renting once. Some of the places were amazing, especially when considering the price and location. I'd never rent just a room but have a close friend who does it on the regular and has never had problems.
