He's in a lose lose situation.

He's obviously not passionate about the political process so he is not going to speak up on his own

And like wise do we as black folks need another uninterested, non passionate, border line ignorant black voice speaking on behalf of us because you know they will take a ASAP Rocky prop him up on a pedestal for a FOX NEWS and make us all look foolish.

I want to be pissy with his answer but I can't because it's honest.

I just hope he remembers this when those SOHO and LAPD cops fukk with him in these neighborhoods because he will not have my support when he gets his WAKE UP CALL.

Always
His reasoning actually further legitimizes his point tho.

Why do you want or push a guy not in the shyt to speak on it?

Not to mention, maybe deep down dude doesn't want to come off like hes making it about himself or doing it for the buzz, tags also a variable.
It's legit to you. His reasoning is not legit. It's not even logical. He's a black man claiming he can't relate to other black men being brutalized by police. He can relate to that. So he's a liar. A coward. And he's a cheap prostitute.

If you're a black male you're obligated to speak on this because this affects every black person on the planet. Idunno man, you and Rocky can pretend systemic racism doesn't affect you, but I'd call him a coward, and I'd call you naive.

I know you're smarter than that because you're smarter than me. Even I can see systemic racism affects all black people. Including black cops.

I can only respond to what he actually said. I do not think he's worried about making it about him. He said it himself. He's in these fashion houses. He's in the studio. He's in drawers.

He just doesn't care man, stop reaching for justification that isn't there.

Man...I been putting in work deleting hella rappers from my music library this week. I get where where Rocky is coming from but he doesn't indentify at all with the black community even though that's where he came from.

The nikka just wanna be left alone and continue to c00n without being interrupted. If he would had just said "im not conscious, that's really not my thing" it would've been cool. But he went far to say

I just wanna fukk white bytches!
I just wanna rap about lean!
I just wanna talk about my fly ass clothes and being jiggy!

:to:

It makes him look 10x more c00nish. Rocky is also deep in the fashion world. He dont wanna risk losing anything. Dudes like ASAP Rocky would be happy being a plantation slave if we were back in those times. Its sad and pitiful.

*deletes all his music*

Basically saying "I got mines, so y'all can fukk off:manny: "
Don't want to say anything..... How about starting with not saying that:francis:

Isn't exclusive to AAs.

who else does it?

I don't have a problem with him saying nothing at all.

There's so many people that study socio-political issues and do stuff involving it as a LIVING and people would rather go and listen to a swag rapper's opinion instead. When he states he doesn't want to be insensere and talk about someone he isn't well versed in, thecoli attacks him

He should've stated "no comment" & kept it moving without all the c00n rhetoric & tap dancing. :martin:

nah fam, saying this is not knowing your self worth. these people get to their position because of blacks, then they turn their back on us. i rarely see celebrities of other races shyt on their own community like this. all he had to say was i dont know enough about it to speak on it. but nah, he made it known what he values which is lean, fashion, and white women. he doesnt care about black people.

how can he "not relate" when he lived in the hood longer than he's been rich and famous? :dahell:

tried to rep you and couldnt.
thankyou for sharing that video.

But do you need ASAP Rocky to speak on police brutality to realize it's a problem. I mean it's a been a problem for fukking ever, but do you really need a B-tier rapper to voice his opinion on it as if it'll add anything that hasn't already been said?

And please stop roping me in with him, I never said I don't feel that systematic racism isn't a factor.
