It's hilarious to see all these dudes who are furious about Punk even in 2017. He's one of the best promos of all-time, has a 5-star match under his belt and was the longest reigning WWE champion in the modern era. But this dude wasn't shyt according to some of y'all

It's overrated and people that think it was a shoot are retarded. This fukking grown ass man out there sitting indian style like he's holding court while reading off his latest Xanga posting as if he's king bad ass is the cringiest shyt. There were probably 20 promos during the Russo era of WCW where guys shyt on their booking and on the company and people are still making fun of it nearly 20 years later, yet Punk's version is the GOAT? Gtfo. Any promo that goes into "everything else is fake, but this is REAL" territory is stupid on a wrestling show. The follow up promos were even worse, and the Cena/Punk matches were all sloppy as hell and saved by hot crowds. And it was very much diminishing returns, as by the time they got to their last PPV match, they had like 10 matches in a little over a year and the crowds didn't give a shyt at all anymore.

Bruh this shyt was GOAT because everything still remains the same, every word of it was truth and then when you get the podcast he did afterwards its even crazier. Hearing about WWE just shifted all over dude is crazy, taking ideas he came up with and using them for other wrestlers THEIR HANDPICKED WRESTLERS is the worst.

Punk saying fukk it was kind of fukked up towards the fans but at the end of the day IT WAS HIS JOB AND HE WAS UNHAPPY AT HIS JOB so he bounced

The only thing that holds up from that promo is the HHH/Stephanie line outside of that this promo makes him look even more bitter once you follow it up with the reason to why he left the wwe.

Like I said in the other thread. If the Pipe Bomb happens in 2015 instead of 2011 Punk probably gets full support to do whatever and get the most money out of his momentum. He was a victim of his time, sadly.

The fans are no better then the company they sabotage the show and are just as much fans of themselves as they are for the darlings rheychampion yet they would be the first ones to run up to all those wrestlers to sign a shirt or take a picture and then go online to shyt on the mm and the company but still watch and invest time and money in to it despite complaining nonstop

Remember punk was one of the few Indy guys who actual kept his name and fought for a lot of guys and chances for guys when all they wanted was ex footballers and models

Punk kept his name because he was lucky that policy changed after he was on the main roster, him and MVP were the last two wrestlers that were able to keep the rights of their names once on the main roster IIRC. And he tried to politic his way to get his friends jobs, there's nothing wrong with that, but there's a bunch of big name wrestlers that have done the same before and after Punk, but for some reason he's the only one that gets praised for it He was undoubtedly influential though, there's no denying that.
