As dope as Kendrick is and as much as he has delivered, jay elec still is the better artist.

I just feel his voice more. He doesnt do the acrobatics that kendrick does, but is way more soulful. A song like. Mind Detect Heart is just the perfect type of rap music. Kendrick has some Eminem to him. Acrobatics that lose steam with repeated listens. Jay elec shyt gets deeper with more listens.

Jay elected really is the one.

Jay defintely the better artist to me, he has a lot more songs I like and like more than Kendrick's. Kendrick stands out amongst the mainstream I feel, but Jay stands out in general.

That's fair.... I think Jay Electronica is Grade A rapper. But I also feel like it's easier for him because he only does like 2-3 songs a year if that.....

I don't know if he has the versatility to make different types of songs

I have doubts if he could put together a cohesive 12-15 album

He may be a better MC, but not really a better Artist because I don't think he has or will put out anything thats viable commercially or in laymans term I doubt he could sell any records

Jay could never be a better artist than Kendrick because he doesn't have any albums to pit against Kendrick.
