As basura as 1997 Batman was, Can we admit that Bane's design was superior to TDKR version

:mjlol::mjlol: I’m all for the luchador mask but hell no. The 90s live action Bane was a goofy even from a design standpoint. At least Nolan’s Bane had the brains and the brawn. Like his Vengeance of Bane & Knightfall counterpart in the comics…. :stopitslime:Until that bs twist.

Both Banes lack something that Knight fall Bane had...

Dude had a high IQ and easily calculate Bats every move and concept.

The fact that they made Bane look like a oversized lugheaded wrestler looking cac in Batman and Robin, along with making him skinny fat British in Rises misses the entire point when dude was actually Hispanic in the comics.

I like Tom Hardy's version. His acting was top notch. As for size, it would have been interesting if the guy who played Boagrius in Troy tried it.

Nolan trilogy everything ruined everything else for me. The only thing remotely entertaining anymore was the batfleck fight scenes. I prefer the grounded versions that Nolan put out.

I agree. TDKR has superior acting and voice but honestly Hardy isn't big enough to play Bane. Bane is supposed to be physically imposing on a circus-freak level. Not some average height guy with a good bulk. You're supposed to have a Lou Ferrigno or Bautista type dude in that role
Knowing now Batista is a great actor, would love to redo the film with him in the role.
