As a self respecting fan, can you ever "change teams" and still be a respectable fan?

You can't change teams unless you're a kid. the most you can do is follow the team less even that is pretty:mjpls:. I admit when Arsenal lost 8-2 to Man U I was like fukk football I aint watchin that shyt no more.

I accept people can follow multiple teams but at the end of the day you gotta have one main team Wins or Ls.

And you can't start supporting a team just because they're good and winning championships. It's more fun to see a team start off with 0 and then start dominating you worked your way up to good times:blessed: if your team wins all the time whats the fun in watching??

when i turn on the TV, i wanna see quality ball playin, not some struggle ass team boring me to sleep. ill hang in there for a bit, to see if the ship reverses course, but if one of my teams is putting in pathetic display after pathetic display, im onto the next one.

**how long i endure varies by sport.

In Dallas, From Cleveland
Good Question, I normally say no but as a Cleveland Browns fans I'm getting to the end of the line. There is really nothing I like about the franchise at this point. It's on like 2-3 players I genuinely like.

They never make moves I like, never draft the players I feel like they should or hire the coaches I agree with.

I rep them because I was born and raised in Cleveland but I've been gone for about 15 years now. I live in Dallas and will NEVER be a Cowboys fan. But it almost feel like I'm married to chick I can't stand and have nothing in common with.....

There is nothing I'm looking forward to next season :mjcry:

Here is my stance : you only have ONE team you really really root for. Been a Knicks fan for 20 plus years now and that's my team whatever happens. It doesn't stop me from following other teams and rooting for them, like the Spurs or Bulls or Warriors for example, because I like the way they play, but at the end of the day whenever those teams play us I'm obviously always rooting for the Knicks and that's who I want to see win it all. One day :mjcry::salute:

You just explained the true SPORTS fan. You're not rooting for them you're just watching them play because you're a fan of great basketball, being a fan of the Knicks isn't going to make you just watch them because you still love the sport.

The people I personally can't stand are the *insert team* fan who is all :blessed: when their team is winning but as soon as they start losing it's :camby: and on to the next one.

When I meet people and they start talkin bout their teams I always ask one question..."name me three players who no longer play for your team"...if you can't answer that shyt then you ain't a true fan IMO.

I had one dude who once said to me. "I ain't got no problem wit the Steelers cuz my 49ers had their six rings first"...a nikka couldn't even say anything I just :dahell::russ::martin: then walked away as my other homeboy was like :mjlol:and the other nikka was like :ld: cuz he couldn't understand what we were laughing about.

I can't be friends with a man who changes teams. :scust: Where they do that it? Detroit sports fan for life. I've been through 0-16. After that it can't get much worse except this year scared me for a bit.:snoop:
