Since corona and everyone working from home… I haven’t thought about wardrobe

Only time I’ll think about a wardrobe if I’m going on vacation

curious as to why vacation, unless ur single. Vacations to me have always been the most easy and thoughtless shyt when it comes to getting my clothes ready. Maybe cause I like beaches and tropical weather, but beach wear is the most laidback shyt

I started dressing more business casual when I turned 27. By the time I turned 30 I’d gotten rid of most of my athletic wear, fitted caps & sneakers. Trashed anything with a logo wasn’t Polo or Lacoste.

The sooner you hop on the wave the sooner you’ll have a respectable wardrobe. Good adult male pieces never go out of style. So it’s worth investing in loafers, slacks, chinos, blazers and sweaters. Much less wasteful than buy $30-100 t shirts that last one season.

The visual of this combination:russ:

I'm a slim older breh as well and the though of me wearing some 42" waist pants belted above the waist is:mjlol:

32-33" with a 34" length is perfect for me

you sold out and lost the dream.
when i was in H.S. me and my boys made a pact or an oath of sorts.
we were the BHL, Baggy Head Life. we swore to never give up the baggy life.
i honestly don't know what happened to the rest of the crew but i kept my oath.

Started mid 20’s. I actually like fashion but shyt is too seasonal and a waste of $. Logos everywhere look bad imo. Started streamlining my shyt with dark colors. The goal was business casual and to be able to leave the office and head straight to the bar without looking like a suit. Now my shyt is pretty much transferable from weddings, to funerals to lounges and to work. The key is a timeless wardrobe. I told my kids I want to be able to have pictures with them and for them not to be able to time stamp the year lol

Lol, that's not what the women say. As long as you look neat, got a handsome face, and step with purpose, you can wear whatever you want almost wherever

Judge another man's style of dressing, brehs. We don't do that in htown, poser

I feel you boss but it may also be a regional thing cuz what you posted that you rock would get you NO play in NYC.

In all fairness tho, this is a highly competitive environment.

I'd dress more suitably if i was in new York. I'm in Houston tho. Hella tricks up my sleeve. Still all along the same energy Kuz that's what really have people captivated.

Also, my suitable fits are always made to stand out while also not drawing too much unwanted attention

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Athleisure is what I've been for years

Jean jacket w/ the sleeves cut, scalloped t-shirt like (kanye in 2011), dad hat with the local team embroidered, nike/abercrombie roggers (runner/jogger hybridsteins) with the cankles showcased and some XJ-9000's.

Gang!

Been dressing like this since 2017.

I even wear it year round (but the weather is so temperate here, with the mediterranean style climate, it works).
