I still download + watch every week, along with the rest of the Fox Sunday block, and I can say without a doubt it's still the best animated show on right now, maybe a slight #2 behind American Dad.

It's still a show that gets by on pure laughs instead of the ridiculous and outrageous shyt all these other shows get by on now.

People talking shyt just do it cause everyone else does, and guess what? "Everyone else" hasn't even seen it recently either.

First off the last couple of seasons have been pretty solid. The show is funnier than it has been in recent years. Even though the show is far from its prime, it's still funnier than Family Guy, so go figure.

i used to love it as a kid.. if you look at pics of me when i was 5 i had tons of bart shirts that said "eat my shorts"

Yep. The new seasons aren't on par with their prime years, but they've been really good. There was a point a few years back where the show was just unwatchable, but the past 2 or 3 seasons have turned it around. It's actually one of the few shows that I look forward to watching new episodes for every week.

It went through a lull true enough, but these cats talking bad about the Simpson and ain't seen an ep, since 99. If you actually watched the series when it was bad, I'll listen to your opinion all day, but if you ain't seen an episode in a decade, miss me with that shyt ya know.
