Pretty sure last i heard is that Discovery was looking to sell the CW or shut it down completely so this may just be a whatever low budget project to bide their time.

I'm sure the new WB Boss would have killed this like he did that Wonder Twins movie and most of the ArrowVerse if it hadn't already been filmed. It will get canceled after a few episodes air unless people actually like it.

They should let Netflix make their shows. The Marvel shows were gritty and should be the direction DC goes. Just keep their main characters in the movies.
