Stay humble ...at 23 I owned thangs, but by 28 lost it and haven't lived with my parents since 17. Things can change in a blink of an eye, it's just the way life is.
Those who are humble prevail and those who walk around with that blissful air of being a "boss" crash and burn so hard, I secretly laugh at them because it's the medicine they needed. And it also shows a glimpse of what they would do with "power".

I was living like a 43 year old with good credit at 23 ...and still came through "the block" like nothing changed. That's good you have parental support at 23 years-old that allows you to do that. But keep in mind a lot of men do not and are forced to make detours and life decisions which may stifle their original plan.

Are you happy? That's really the only true measure of how you're doing in life.

That's kind of hard to answer. There are things about my life that are making me happy, such as the progress I'm making that I described in the original post, but I feel anxious sometimes because I've lived in the same city for over 12 years now, and this place is not the best environment for my personality type. I like interacting with all sorts of people(most of the people here are white, and they always assume I'm from Africa or something ), and I like the idea of being able to go to different clubs, parties, events, etc.

At times I feel like a big fish in a small pond and it frustrates me, which is why I'm thinking I'll start taking vacations more often so my spirit and ambition stay strong. When I get a chance to see what I'm missing out on, it makes me more encouraged to work harder. This summer I went to London(it was my first time ever leaving the country), I got a chance to really see how the rest of the world is living and a chance to experience luxury first hand. I went to central London and I had to pick my jaw off the floor.
