As a 2-State Solution Loses Steam, a 1-State Plan Gains Traction in Israel/Palestine
The 2 state solution is dead. It will not happen anytime soon...this is no surprise. The Israelis will never allow a militarized Palestine state...there is too much bad blood between both parties to make this happen.
No Israeli PM will survive advocating for a 2 state solution especially not after October 7th the only way the dynamics change is if Israel is defeated in a war which is also a fantasy in itself.
The middle ground is some sort of an international force to play peace keepers until everyone calms down.
I expect the Palestinians to reject that as well as they always have. So there will be no progress.

Homeowners in East Jerusalem generally refuse under any circumstances to sell properties to Israeli settlers. The vast majority of the properties sold to Israeli institutions have been made by fraudulent or deceptive means, sometimes using intermediaries or straw men to fool Palestinians into thinking that their homes will still be in safe hands. Emirati and Palestinian business men doing this is one way.
