Breh I wouldn't go that far . I still had Lucas winning the fight, and thought the calls for it being a draw were preposterous. My pop gave me a call and thought it was bizarre to hear the announcers making it seem closer than it really was. Clearly, Lucas won that fight.

However, I still think the outcome would have been different had the head clash never happened. Ruslan was still hanging in there and clearly won rounds 3 and 4? I can't remember, but he won two rounds in a row in the beginning and then possibly, heavy emphasis on possibly, stole a round or two afterwards. I think it was round 11 where he rocked Lucas pretty bad and Lucas admitted as much after the fight. Still, it wasn't enough and the head clash and his vision, not to mention the pot shots he was taking slowed him down. But again, had the head clash never happened, the outcome would have been different IMO.

I think Lucas did all he could in that fight.. Ruslan is just a fukking tank.. Nobody at 140 is gonna dominate this guy.. Nobody at 140 is gonna come out that fight unscathed..

I love watching Crawford, and I'm definately rooting for him to live up to Arum's predictions. However, on annointing him at this point. It's way too early.
