i think over saturation of music has a lot to do with it. i mean i still bump liveloveasap a lot but there's so many other good tapes out that i'm not chatting about him on the internet when 20 (rough figure, you get it) great mixtapes came out this year so far.
and i got to disagree KTD2, ASAP gets a lot of play at house parties/heard from whips in the two cities i live in (providence and brookyln), BUT most "buzzed" artists are exactly what you said. Joey Badass for example.
edit: ohh you were generalizing, I agree then but with ASAP he does have a tangible real buzz
Also you gotta understand the coli isn't life, i didn't hear people bump ASAP until a good half a year or more after he popped up on sohh(the internet).
