I'm doing a Spartacus rewatch right now and it's miles already of any show that is currently airing.

Breh even a show like 24 was a regular show on fox and it was straight crack nothing is touching that today

I'm not actively watching these shows because I've seen them 5011 times and I just need something familiar in the background. My time for new shows to get invested in is extremely limited by comparison.

Only one I really messed with on that list was BBT. But I agree with the article cuz they don't make sitcoms like they used to. Especially comedies. They be either ignoring the genre or not making any decent ones except for streaming services and most aren't as high quality as the old days. Rare to find a good comedy sitcom on netflix lately. I liked the upshaws but can't think of much else from the past year. Even for network tv, maybe young sheldon, but not sure what else they even showing on primetime lately. Think it's been mostly talent shows like AGT and the voice. I think modern family is the last one that ended that was good that I can think of. I could turn on peacock and go to the channels page and watch that, or things like 2 and a half men or king of queens. Or even go on regular tv during the day or late night and watch like jamie foxx show or wayans bros reruns. I don't know what the hell they showing that's new these days and I doubt it's anything funny.

i pretty much only have D+ for simpsons, and I've binged the entire series from past - present, but I'll always throw on S2 - S8ish as background cause that shyt classic.

or on Paramount plus, I'll rerun some old Trek as noise before i sleep
