3 or so months in the PS3 was a catastrophic failure. it turned around quite nicely. people want Nintendo to fail so bad that they wanna prematurely talk about the failure before it actually happens.

Wii U should've dropped with another franchise game, ex. Smash Bros, Metroid, or Starfox, they need to stick with what made them Nintendo, and try working making new franchises that their core fanbase can adapt to instead of all that Mii gimmicks.

wii was a success because it was a $250 gimmick that had a controller that you could immediately imagine the possibilities with. put it in a casual gamer's hands and they basically know what to do.

the possibilities never really panned out, and the casuals have moved on to gaming on tablets at home.

i think nintendo's best bet is a hybrid of a handheld and console. something that you can take with you or hook up to a tv, and have it use blue tooth to connect some other controllers for local multiplayer gaming

nintendo is bringing the handheld and console teams together, i wouldnt be surprised if there is only one nintendo device for both markets in a few years.

So if the PS4 or 720 comes out with the block feature on used games, are you still getting one?

If you go over to your peeps crib and bring Fifa 14 or NBA 2k14 and want to run a game and the message ' used games playable only on original purchase console '....... is that enough for you to skip next gen?

I don't know about all of that

I think the GameCube will forever hold that title for that company. In terms of sales and great games the gamecube was really a tough console to get behind. It did bring in that wavebird controller which was really the start of wireless controllers on consoles

Virtual Boy is BY FAR the worst...

Proclaiming a sytem a failure just 3 months after it release is definitely the height of stupidity. The rise of the idiot blogger is probably the worst side effect of a ubiquitous internet society unfortunately.
